Methode zur Entwicklung von variablen Strukturkonzepten durch Kombination additiver und konventioneller Fertigungsverfahren
Abstract
Für die nachhaltige Gestaltung der Mobilität gilt es den Einsatz von Energie und Material im Fahrzeugbau weiter zu reduzieren. Deshalb gewinnen mit zunehmender Variantenvielfalt und Individualisierung von künftigen Straßenfahrzeugen variable Leichtbaukonzepte und wandlungsfähige Produktionssysteme zunehmend an Bedeutung. Additive Fertigungsverfahren bieten aufgrund des Schichtbauprinzips außerordentliche Freiheiten im Gestaltungsprozess. Deren Unabhängigkeit von formgebenden Werkzeugen erhöht zudem die Flexibilität in der Produktion von individuellen und leichtbauoptimierten Strukturkomponenten. Trotz ihrer Vorteile in Bezug auf Leichtbau und Gestaltflexibilität stellt deren Anwendung in der automobilen Produktion eine Herausforderung dar. Unter anderem erschweren noch lange Prozesszeiten und hohe Werkstoffkosten, z.B. bei den pulververarbeitenden Laserschmelzverfahren Selective Laser Melting und Laser Metal Deposition, die wirtschaftliche Herstellung von metallischen Strukturkomponenten. Deshalb scheiden additive Fertigungsverfahren im Wettbewerb zu konventionellen Fertigungslösungen oft bereits zu Beginn des Produktentstehungsprozesses aus, wodurch innovative Konzeptideen und neuartige Strukturlösungen für die Serienanwendung ausbleiben. Im Vergleich zu rein additiv hergestellten Strukturen können durch den kombinierten Einsatz additiver Fertigungsverfahren und konventionell hergestellter Halbzeuge jedoch Flexibilität und Leichtbaugüte bei gleichzeitiger Senkung von Kosten und Fertigungszeit optimiert werden. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird eine Methode zur Erstellung und Bewertung variabler Strukturkonzepte durch Kombination additiver und konventioneller Fertigungsverfahren vorgestellt und anhand automobiler Strukturanwendungen demonstriert.
